Though You Fear

Though you lean away from her bite. And push at her wrist desperately, to keep it from tearing what remains of your once beautiful nylons.

If she tried to leave you there, you’d give chase. If she tried to break of your tangle, you would re-engage her.

For though you fear the pain she inflicts, you fear the absence of her efforts even more.
